Kayak and Snorkeling Tour
Join us on a glorious Kayak and Snorkeling Tour. Discover the beauty of Curacao as you paddle along the amazing coastline to see its natural wonders and historical locations.
After a safety briefing, climb aboard your kayak and follow your professional guide to remote areas where you will marvel at the tropical vegetation and wildlife. You will paddle across Caracas Bay (approximately 20 minutes open water). Here, you will see cultural highlights such as Fort Beekenburg as you paddle for approximately another 20 minutes in the protected waters along the coast. The Fort was originally built in 1703 to ward off the French and British fleets. It was named after Heer van Beek, who from 1701 to 1704 coordinated the city of Willemstad's defense.
You will land at a deserted stretch of beach, a combination of sand and coral stones, which will allow you access to some of the best snorkeling on the island, not only for the natural beauty underwater, but also for the lack of crowds above. Before heading back, cool off with a refreshing swim in the pristine tropical waters. Above the beach you can see a manor estate, the Quarantaine Hospital, which was built in 1700 and used for treatment of sick seaman. The paddle back is approximately 30 minutes across the Bay.

After being at sea for three days I thought we could use a little exercise. This was a fun tour. After getting everyone in the kayaks and out of the bay we hit the open water. The wind was blowing and made for a wet ride in the big waves. The snorkling part of the tour was just ok. They are trying to bring back the coral reef..... so the amount of fish and the variety of fish was a bit disappointing. Overall an enjoyable time.

We really enjoyed the whole tour. The day was perfect for the tour. The guide was fun and well informed about, the area. The only problem we had was with the arrangements for our transportation. Very poor arrangements

Great trip! My only complaint is the snorkel gear didn't include flippers. It was rough when we were there and I got shin splints from kicking so hard. Lots of beautiful fish!
Had lots of fun. We kayaked to a beautiful area where we did some great snorkeling. The guides gave us fish food which attracted lots of wonderful fish.
John and Sebastian looked after our safe transportation from port to adventure site, as well as accompanying just the two of us on a challenging kayak experience to an interesting diving- snorkelling site.
