Ketchikan All In One
Ketchikan All In One Excursion
The southeasternmost city in stunning Alaska, Ketchikan, is located on an island surrounded by the lush Tongass National Forest.
Your journey into this charming city starts with a short Ketchikan city tour where you will stop at one of the area's many salmon cannaries. Learn about the salmon industry, observe various marine life, and watch the salmon run up the ladder.
From there you will travel to Saxman Village Park where you will be greeted by the largest collection of standing totems in one location. Walk through the 25 replicas of original Native Alaskan totem poles and observe the artistic carvings revealing stories of the people and legends of the past. While here, head to one of the wildlife viewing spots for your chance to see eagles on a nest.
Continue to Rotary Beach and explore the tide pools looking for crab and other marine life. This beach is popular with the locals and it's easy to see why with the the great opportunities to see humpback and orca whales as they migrate through Nicolas Passage. On this Ketchikan tour, savor the taste of local berries, then travel to Herring Cove for an excellent chance to view eagles, seals, heron and bears - not to mention thousands of salmon returning to the place of their birth upstream!
Conclude your tour with a stop at a breathtaking cascading waterfall before your return trip back to port. If you love animals and nature then you do not want to miss out on this cruise excursion while in Ketchikan! Book now.
Please Note: Restrooms available at Rotary Beach.

My wife and I really enjoyed the guide and his insights to the local culture and Ketchikan area. Even though our tour was a wet one, it was still very entertaining and enjoyable.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history and culture of the area. He also spoke clearly, and at a pace that everyone could understand. He gave us ample time at each site. Would recommend no smoking by guide during tour. If there is another salmon run location, I would recommend a change. This was a very crowded area with several other groups stopping there at the same time.
