Ketchikan Hike and Brew
Ketchikan Hike and Brew
During this 2.5 hour tour you and your small group will be led into the stunning Alaskan wilderness along a lush, 1.8 mile rainforest trail that leads to a beautiful beach on the Pacific Ocean. The excitement begins as you ride along the coast to the trailhead while your guide shares fascinating facts and stories about the history, culture and people of Ketchikan. Once at the trailhead your guide will take you through the moss-blanketed trail, explaining the area flora and fauna along the way as you admire the giant cedar trees towering overhead.
Following the hike you will head back into town to reward yourself with a local brew (draft beer or coffee) and a delicious snack of smoked salmon dip with crackers at the oldest bar still operating in Ketchikan. This classic bar is full of character with a great outdoor covered area over the water where you can chill out with your newfound trail friends. Your tour then ends at the Artic Bar which is a short walk from your cruise ship.
