World Famous Conch Tour Train & Truman Little White House

Whether it's your first time in Key West or your fifth, you'll discover something new on this Key West cruise port trip. The tour provides a comprehensive overview of the area that fits into even the tightest of schedules. Hop on and off to explore the attractions that interest you on this flexible tour on the charming Conch Train.

Your Key West journey starts at the famous Mallory Square. Stop along Front Street, close to the Key West Shipwreck Treasures Museum and the Key West Aquarium, Truman's Little White House, themed retail shops, and the best conch fritters on the island. Sloppy Joe's, Ernest Hemingway's favorite bar, is also nearby, so you can grab a cold one after the tour.

Then you'll make a stop at the Conch Tour Train Station, where you can buy souvenirs at the gift shop for your memorable tour around Key West. Hop off here to explore Duval Street, a lively street full of interesting shops and people. You never know what you'll see here!

Next, stop at Truval Village. Here, you'll find yourself just steps away from the Southernmost Point in the continental United States as well as South Beach, one of the best beaches in town! Other highlights here include the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory, the Hemingway Home and Museum, the Key West Lighthouse, and the many art galleries that are found on upper Duval Street. There's something for everyone!

Once you get back on the train, you'll make your way to the next stop: the Historic Seaport district. The biggest attraction here is the Flagler Railway Museum, which tells you the tale of the famous railroad that connects Key West with Mainland Florida. You'll also find out more about the central figure behind it: Henry Flagler. History buffs, in particular, will enjoy this attraction.

Finally, you'll make your way back to Mallory Square and then walk to the final stop on this tour: the Truman Little White House. Named after the former President of the United States, the venue was Truman's place of rest and relaxation when he visited Key West. Although other presidents have visited the site, Truman was the one who considered Key West his second home. Tours of the Little White House run every 20 minutes.

Please Note: The Conch Train runs every 30 minutes from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. It takes approximately 90 minutes to make one full loop. The Harry S. Truman Little White House operates from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Very interesting tour

Some of the tour trains are primarily to get from one point to another. The Conch Tour Train doesn't have as many stops as the others but you can learn more about the history of Key West. Highly recommended.

Conch Train and Truman White House

Train overview was very helpful to get a over view of key west. It was just long enough to help us plan where we wanted to walk back to. Key is West is very managsable to walk thru on you own.

Both were interesting and fun
July 25, 2019
The conch train tour guides made the jump on / jump off trip interesting and fun. There wasn't an opportunity for interaction (questions), so it was generally scripted. The Truman White House and the tour guide were very interesting and fun. The guide did much more than read from a script. For example, when I asked a question her answer both went into very appropriate detail, was interesting and was shared with everyone on the tour.

Tour of Key West
March 15, 2019
We had been to Key West on a previous occasion but had not taken a tour. This tour was delightful, we got a really good narrative on the Keys from historic beginning to present while on the "train" and were able to have an excellent guided tour of the Truman White House. We were very pleased with everything!
