Mykonos Beach Break
Mykonos Beach Break
Whilst Mykonos may perhaps be best known for its vibrant nightlife with a summer party atmosphere and world-renowned DJs playing music until dawn, the locals know that it also boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in all the Cyclades.
Enjoy a comfortable and picturesque ride from Mykonos town for approximately 20 minutes as you pass through quaint villages and enjoy the mesmerizing scenery.
Elia Beach is one of the longest and most popular beaches on the island with facilities and is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and beach bars. It is an ideal spot for water skiing, parasailing and windsurfing (all water sports and comforts at the beach are extra and at each guest's discretion).
Elia is located to the south of Mykonos and is the largest of the south chain of beaches with fine sand and is often quieter than other beaches. Popular with naturists, you will find there are plenty of alcoves allowing you to discover your own secluded and private plot to claim. You will also find several beachfront cafes and restaurants for food and drink. If you walk up into the hills you will be afforded a fabulous view out over the Instagram-worthy bay.
The elegant and luxury hotels located in the area make a perfect compliment to the yachts that are often at anchor just offshore. There are public showers at the beach and the beach itself is cleaned twice daily.
At the end of your relaxing beach day, meet at the designated location and time as provided by your guide for the return to Mykonos and the pier area.
