Recommended Dress We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sensible rubber soled walking shoes. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also suggested.
Restrictions Guests must be able to walk on paved, packed dirt, and gravel surfaces, some of which are at an incline. There are steps at several of the sites. Folding walkers can be accommodated, however, wheelchairs cannot be accommodated in the vehicle.
Nice City Tour
Your group of no more than eight will depart Cannes with your driver/guide and drive directly to Nice, where you will start your introduction and Nice tour with a sweeping view from the Castle Hill (Colline du Chateau). You will also have a chance to admire the waterfalls and gardens.
Then, drive along the Promenade des Anglais that separates the city from the sea. You will see the different charming districts of the town: Cimiez, the Russian Orthodox Church, Massena Square, the library and the Regina Palace.
Upon arrival at the Old Town, the heart of Nice, you will have some free time to soak up the traditional atmosphere of the flower market and the small streets lined with shops and cafes.
From here, you will drive back to Cannes, approximately 50 minutes away.

The title said it all. The tour guide Renauld was great. Took photos of us and knew the best place for good pictures. Excellent English. Thoroughly enjoyable day in the French Riveraira

Lovely time in Nice

We were picked up from the cruise ship terminal in Cannes by Xavier, April 2019. The van held 8 people, was comfortable and clean. Xavier was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information on the drive to Nice. We enjoyed the unexpected on this trip and found the Russian Orthodox Church and the history of it very interesting. The trip to Castle Hill gave beautiful views of the whole area and the beautiful cote d azur. Throughout Xavier was talkative and informative. As it was a warm day, by the time we got to the old city, we first stopped at a lovely outdoor cafe for a drink, then found we did not have as much time as we would have liked for exploring the beach and old town and flower market so I guess we will have to come back some day and spend more time there.

Nice was Definitely NICE!

Our ship docked in Cannes, which was great because it's a beautiful coastal city itself. We had two hours to browse before our tour guide arrived for our trip to Nice. Although our guide was 15 minutes late the tour of Nice was well worth it! Our guide was quite informative and an enthusiastic communicator. Our group was small, appx. 6 people, which made the tour intimate and private. Only downside was the limited amount of time ashore; the return drive to Cannes was appx. an hour, and we arrived 30 minutes before the last tender to the ship. Overall, a very easy and scenic tour - highly recommend!

NIce City Tour

This was an excellent tour. I would highly recommend it. The driver was excellent. He had a great knowledge of the area. He pointed out many of the land and city features on our way to nice. He tailored the tour to exactly what we wanted to see and do. He was very helpful to my 88 year old Mother-in-law. Getting permission to drop us off close and pick us up close to the areas we visited. This reduced the amount of walking for my mother-in-law. He was ever help full and informative. He not only knew the city but knew the history and architecture. He took us to some of the local areas with panoramic views. He pointed out all of the unique areas of the city. A very enjoyable day.
