Exclusive Santorini, Oia and Winery Tour
Departing from the tender pier at Fira port, you will be lead to your transportation. From here, in groups of never more than 30 people, you will begin your exploration of this wonderful island.
Your tour will take you to the major must see sites on the island. Depending on traffic the day of your tour, the order you see the sites may vary from the tour description order. One of your stops will be at the village of Oia, located at the northern tip of the island. As you travel along, you will see the different layers of lava the volcano had produced making a time line of the island's history. Oia offers magnificent views of the caldera and the rest of the other islands. Depending on the time of day, the sun paints the cliffs with different shades of color and light like an ever-changing landscape painting. Perhaps this is one of the reasons that Oia attracts so many artists. With its cobble stone streets, beautiful old mansions and houses perched on the cliff side, you can admire the traditional Cycladic architecture for which Santorini is so well known.
From Oia, you will travel across the terraced island, through Pyrgos village and make your way up to the highest peak of Santorini, Mt. Profitis Ilias.(883 feet) Here a monastery of the same name was built in 1712. Although you cannot enter the monastery, you can enjoy its magnificent view of the entire island from the south end of Perissa Beach to the north part of the island were Oia village is situated.
After the photo stop, you will drive to one of the local wineries on the island. Here you can learn about how wines were once produced on the island, as well as learning of the unique way in which grapes are grown and harvested on Santorini. You will be able to sample three of the most famous wines of Santorini.
From the winery, you will make their way back to the town of Fira, the picturesque capital town of the island built on the rim of the caldera wall. Your guide will lead you to the major pedestrian street where they will give you a brief orientation of how to navigate the town before you explore on your own. Wander the endless maze of whitewashed streets looking for jewelry, gifts or the perfect view of the caldera while you enjoy a coffee or wine. The tour ends in Fira, so you can enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful place and return to your ship at your leisure.
Please Note: The tour duration does not include the time required to tender ashore from your ship. This tour ends in Fira Town.
Loved Santorini!!! Even the warm temps and crowds couldn’t demiish the wow factor. The wine tour was such fun and a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. The views of Santorini are magnificent and as amazing as all the photographs.

This shore excursion was awesome! I really felt like I got to see the entire island of Santorini. We went to the highest point of the island for amazing views, got to visit and taste at the island's largest winery and drove through the narrowest point of the island on our way to Oia. The only thing I wish was different was the order because we got to Oia at the same time as all of the other tour buses which meant thousands of people in a very small area all at the same time. The stops would have been perfect in reverse (Oia, winery, monastery). But still an excellent shore excursion and I would definitely recommend.
Knowing that we had a limited amount of time in Santorini, we decided to do a tour to get the most out of the island. Tour brought us all around, including a winery (which had beautiful views), Oia and ending in Fira. Having read the reviews of this tour, we were ready for the large crowds and the descent down to the port. Yes, Oia is extremely crowded, but you're going to have that experience whether or not you're on a tour. After doing the tour, I think this was the most efficient way to see everything on the island. Highly recommend! Plus, Margarita was an excellent guide.

What can I say WOW .What I saw on the bus was. interesting.Did not think it looked like that. The winery was wonderful really enjoyed the experience. The tour guide was very good.
Village of Oia is worth but crowded. Everything else is average. I don't know what is "Exclusive" about this itinerary. Except for village of Oia, all other stops were average for Southern Californians. Cruise ship tours have an advantage in being able to get off first and taking the boat to land. Quite a crowd in Oia by the time we got there. Wine tour was a waste of time. Avg wines at best. Not suitable for family with kids. Worst is, they leave you in the Oia and you have to figure out trams or walk knee breaking stairs to climb down. Guide was decent; bus was comfortable
