Recommended Dress We recommend wearing your swimsuit under comfortable clothing and sensible, flat-soled walking shoes. Guests should bring a towel, sunglasses, hat and sunscreen.
Restrictions Guests must be able to get in and out of transportation, completely unassisted and be able to easily navigate inclines/declines, uneven terrains, and sandy areas. This tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for cane or walkers. The minimum age requirement is 4 years old. Please note: To participate all guests are required to sign a waiver on the day of the tour after meeting the local representative.

Relax and soak up the beach life on Puerto Plata's beautiful north coast and experience Playa Dorada on this half-day excursion.

San Felipe de Puerto Plata is the capital of the Puerto Plata province on the Dominican Republic's Atlantic Coast. Indulge in a swim in the crystal-clear waters, savor a refreshing beverage from the full-service beach bar and cafe, or simply unwind and soak up the sun.

Upon meeting your local guide, you will embark from the port through the historic district and along the Malecon to the Beach Resort.

On your arrival to the beach destination, the tour host will serve each guest a rum punch. Food and beverages are available at the seaside beach cafe (not included in the tour).

Next, wade into the stunning turquoise waters or relax at the water's edge on a complimentary lounge chair (based on first come/first serve) all while taking in the natural beauty of the beautiful beach surroundings.

On your return to the ship, enjoy more Rum Punch until we reach the port or run out of punch!
