Post Cruise First Time Scuba Adventure
Designed for cruise guests continuing their journey after disembarkation, this post-cruise introductory scuba experience offers a perfect first dive in Tahiti's calm and inviting waters. The experience begins with the famed Aquarium dive site, a sandy lagoon area with depths ranging from 20 to 30 feet, making it ideal for first-time divers or those returning to the water after time away. Guests will explore a colorful underwater world filled with diverse coral, vibrant tropical fish, and three small wrecks, including two boats and a plane, all set in clear, shallow water.
Upon arrival, guests will meet with a dedicated dive instructor who will provide a thorough briefing on the equipment and what to expect underwater. The dive takes place in the lagoon area, reaching a maximum depth of approximately 6 meters, where guests may encounter triggerfish, parrotfish, scissor-tail sergeantfish, sixbar wrasses, and possibly graceful stingrays gliding over white sandy bottoms.
This experience is conducted in small groups, allowing for personalized attention from the instructor and a relaxed, uncrowded dive environment. The dive lasts approximately 45 minutes and is suitable for guests ages 8 to 70.
