Premium Morning Snorkel and Sail Adventure
Sale Price: $49.00
Do you like being crammed onto a boat with more than 100 of your fellow cruisers? We don't either. Come away on this CAT Sail and Snorkel Tour, where departures are never filled beyond 75% capacity. This means there'll be plenty of room for you to move about and get comfortable on your Key West port trip.
After boarding your sailing CAT in the nearby Historic Key West Seaport, you will head out across the warm, blue waters of the Florida Keys to North America's only living coral reef.
During your sail to the reef, the staff will pass out the included snorkeling gear and give a safety and snorkeling orientation. The boat is equipped with sun deck and shaded areas, as well as a restroom.
Upon arrival, you will enter the water via the "stairway to the sea" and explore the coral reef, home to over 50 dazzling species of coral, and more than 150 varieties of vividly colored tropical fish and marine life.
After snorkeling, rinse off in the freshwater shower before enjoying an ice-cold beer, wine or soda, as your CAT glides across the beautiful blue sea.
We had an excellent time with the all female crew! They were a hoot. We got to see some bright colored fish, turtles and the coral reef trying to rebuild itself. On the trip back we enjoyed open bar. It was a great day.

This was a great snorkel day too, if you are an advanced swimmer. The location of our snorkel was super choppy, which made for a lot of water in the mask! But there were great fish to see and a great crew. Too early in the morning to drink, so I passed on that, but overall, this was a super fun way to spend the day in Key West. And as a bonus, the location of the catamarans is close to great shopping and restaurants, with time to enjoy those amenities.

Went on 4/7/19 and it was one of my favorite excursions! I came from a cruise ship - it was a very easy ten minute talk (and easy to find - directions they provided were perfect). LOVED the crew - very friendly and knowledgeable. I was by myself and had a blast. I had snorkeled maybe 3 times in the last 20 years and they made me feel very safe and comfortable even in kind of wavy seas (which I found fun!). Excellent time - definitely recommend!

The company worked hard to take us to the Atlantic side where we could see more fish. The chop had been heavy and the gulf side was turbid. Although I did fine. Many people got seasick from the bumpy ride and up and down snorkel. For me it was outstanding, for others not so much.

Timing is everything. Unfortunately, a storm had passed through the Keys making the Atlantic reef unavailable. We went to a reef in the Gulf of Mexico instead. The water was rough and murky so visibility was limited. The crew did a great job of getting there and back and supervising the swim. this trip was not for beginner snorkelers.
