Private Naples

Sometime between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., a private driver will pick you up at the Amalfi Ferry Pier or any other meeting point near the port that you arrange. The huge, imposing 13th-century Castel Nuovo is another sight to behold, with its stately, stark medieval towers surrounding a marble triumphal arch that was added in 1470 to celebrate Alfonso of Aragon's entry to Naples.

Since you're in Naples, take the opportunity to enjoy the city's most famous dish: Neapolitan Pizza. You can find many delightful pizzerias in the city. If pizza's not your thing, ask your driver for suggestions on where to find any of Naples's other delicious treats.

Lightweight summer clothing and light layers are recommended, with sweaters and jackets advised for evenings and cooler months. Some terrain in Italy is uneven and archaeological sites can be challenging for those who are not surefooted, so keep that in mind when booking your tour. Vehicles are accessible for a foldable wheelchair or walker.

Though your English-speaking driver can provide commentary while driving you around, they cannot act as a guide outside of the vehicle. Food and beverages are not included in this tour, though there are times set aside for snack breaks and meals included in the day's schedule. The driver will be happy happy to make suggestions about the best places to eat throughout the day. At the end of the tour, you will be returned to the Amalfi Ferry Pier.
