Private Pisa and Florence

Spend the day in the beautiful Tuscan countryside as you explore the cities of Pisa and Florence, considered by many the Cradle of the Renaissance.

The small city of Florence sits on the banks of the Arno River and is incomparable in terms of its art and architecture. Make your way down into the heart of Florence with your English-speaking driver who will take you to the must-see sites including the Piazza Santa Croce.

The impressive Basilica di Santa Croce is the largest Franciscan church in the world and contains the remains of Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli. While in Florence you will also see the Piazza della Signoria with the Palazzo Vecchio; the Palazzo Pitti, one of the homes of the Medici; and the elegant Ponte Vecchio (the old bridge). The Uffizi Gallery, known for its tantalizing collection of Renaissance paintings, is always high on tourists must-do bucket lists as well as Piazzale Michelangelo, a public square with a breathtaking panoramic view of Florence. You might be able to stop in at the Accademia Museum to see the Statue of David, time permitting.

In the university town of Pisa you will head to the Pisa Cathedral, a Romanesque medieval church with its famous Leaning Tower. Visit the Baptistry and the world famous Leaning Tower; the tower has a 4-degree lean thanks to an unsettling of the soil underneath it, giving onlookers the impression that the tower if falling.

This 9-hour small group tour gives you a good overview of these Tuscan jewels as well as jaw dropping photo opportunities. Reserve your seat and get ready to experience the culture and beauty of Pisa and Florence.
