Santorini Volcano and Oia Sunset
A ride on the Fire Cable Car (approximately 5 EUR, not included) and an approximately 7-10 minute walk from the Cable Car Station.Explore the beauty of this picturesque place aboard the King Thiras and sail from the port of Athinios to small islands that are home to volcanos, hot springs, and beautiful villages. Once aboard your vessel, your first stop will be the volcanic island of Nea Kameni. This small uninhabited Greek island is in the Aegean Sea within the Santorini caldera. You will have the opportunity to walk up the soil path and approach the crater of the still-active volcano.
Your journey continues to the second volcanic island named Palea Kameni, where you will have the opportunity to swim in the hot springs, swim in the green Sulphur waters, or relax and enjoy the spectacular view.
After enjoying the hot springs, return to your boat for a short sail to Thirasia island which was part of Santorini before the big explosion of the volcano. Enjoy some free time to explore the area, go swimming and have an ocean-side lunch. You can visit the village of Manolas, the capital of Therasia, accessed by winding stairs, or by a donkey ride.
As you leave the Thirasia island, your vessel, the King Thiras will take you back to the port of Athinios. Upon arrival, you have the option of extending your tour to Oia Village to admire the panoramic views and a spectacular sunset.
