Food/Beverage Provided A turkey sandwich on organic whole wheat bread, fruit, freshly baked cookie, and water are included. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available with a 48 hour advance notice.
Recommended Dress We recommend wearing layered clothing that is appropriate for changing weather conditions and temperatures. The outside layer should be waterproof. Sensible waterproof walking shoes/boots with traction are highly recommended. Please bring a reusable water bottle as water refills will be provided periodically throughout the tour.
Restrictions Guests will need to step on/off and climb into van. Tour requires a moderate amount of walking to reach the best vantage points, some of which is over uneven or unpaved terrain. This tour is not wheelchair accessible.

Your guide, a local professional photographer, has carefully scouted a variety of scenic locations in advance to ensure the best lighting, backdrops, and chances to spot wildlife.

Throughout the tour, you'll receive hands-on tips on composition, camera settings, using natural light, and even how to anticipate animal behavior for that perfect shot. The small group size allows your guide to spend individual time with each participant, helping you improve your technique while capturing the beauty of Alaska.

Haines is renowned for its rich wildlife and dramatic scenery. Bald eagles are often seen soaring overhead or perched nearby, and beginning in August, you may even spot brown bears feeding on salmon along the Chilkoot River.
