This tour includes a fair amount of walking, and guests must be able to walk on even and uneven surfaces, cobblestone pathways, steps, stairs, ancient stone roads, and some paved areas inside the ruins. Walking takes place mostly outdoors with limited shade. Guests must also be able to get in and out of the vehicle independently. Therefore, this tour is not recommended for travelers with significant mobility limitations.

Restrooms are available before entering the Pompeii archaeological site, typically at the cameo shop near the entrance.

Each guest is required to carry a copy of his/her passport or a picture ID during the tour. Children 0-4 years may join the tour at no cost.

Please note: This tour operates rain or shine. On days when the site may be overcrowded, the tour operator may modify the itinerary to provide a better experience for the group. In such cases, an alternative site of equal historical significance with an active archaeological area will be visited instead. Although infrequent, during low season, or periods where the group size falls below 6 guests, a live guide may be replaced by an audio guide.
