We had a great excursion . The tour operator was waiting on the peir for us once the cruise ship tender had dropped us at Vaitape . We was a small group of 7 snorkelers . Our very friendly tour guide / boat captain took us to several spots around the island where we enjoyed snorkeling . The island and surrounding waters are beautiful. We encountered , eagle rays , manta rays , reef sharks , spotted a whale and enjoyed the beautiful corals and fish in the shallow lagoon. Soft drinks and water were provided and some delicious home made cake. The boat was modern, clean and comfortable.

We snorkeled at 3 different sites. The first one was the best - abt 30 rays. The second showed a lot of marine life, but a very busy spot. The third spot was a beautiful coral garden, but very shallow and it was easy to hit coral. Excellent guides.

I’ve been on a number of snorkel excursions and hands down this was the best. The boat was clean and new and the group size small and intimate (6) Highly recommend. Not just a one spot wonder, but several locations throughout the reefs of Bora Bora. Our guide Arther, was special and as a Marine Biologist, his expertise made the day fun and educational. The excursion went an hour over our allotted time because he wanted to insure we had had a great day. (No worries on getting back to the ship on time he was highly aware of our sailing time) This is a must excursion for anyone!
Thanks to Fabien we had the best snorkeling adventure we have had to this date. This is a small, newer and fast boat. We were able to get to places others could not go. We had 4 stops with fabulously clear water and lots of fish. You will not be disappointed!
