Snorkeling Grenada's Underwater Sculpture Park and Reefs

On this exciting underwater excursion, you'll snorkel Grenada and remember it well, including Sculpture Park.

After being met at the cruise pier, walk to your waiting snorkel boat and head out to sea. In the Marine Protected Area, you'll have a series of options for snorkeling, including the world's first Underwater Sculpture Park in Molinere Bay.

Depending on the water and weather conditions that day, a second snorkel will take place over one of the reefs, such as Flamingo Bay or Dragon Bay. Once in the park, sites are fairly close together, giving the tour group the option to move around within the best locations safely while being supported by our crew and complemented by our local expertise. Approximate time in the water at each spot is 40 minutes.

Guests will be provided with snorkeling equipment, including flotation aids. Additionally, guests will get a boat tour along the coast past St. George's down to Grand Anse Beach, or as far north as Flamingo Bay.

PLEASE NOTE: A marine park fee of $1 USD per snorkeler is not included in the price of the tour and must be paid at the venue in cash on the day of the tour.

Strenuous yet average snorkeling.

This is a fairly strenuous excursion. There is quite a bit of swimming to get to the snorkeling areas. Water shoes are a must. You’ll be walking over rocks and getting into the surf from beach is difficult. Some of the snorkeling areas are good and the sculpture garden is a waste of time.

Cool Excursion
January 16, 2019
We had the opportunity to experience the underwater sculpture park and reefs in a very small group with a guide and it was very cool experience. We were met at the pier and picked up by the boat that would then take us over to get our gear and then onward to the excursion. We were joined with some scuba divers but it didn't hamper our experience at all. The sculptures are very interesting and cool. The guide swam along with us and explained about the purpose, cultural representation of the sculptures and the significance of them. It was worthwhile excursion and I highly recommend it.

We were the "Tag Alongs"

My GF and I were the only snorkelers that day so got put with the Scuba people which involve a little extra shuffling around. That said, we had an excellent time snorkeling and with the boat and driver to ourselves without the crowd. The driver also dropped us off back to the cruise ship without us having to go back to the dive shop which was very considerate.
