St. Herman's Blue Hole Discovery

Reconnect with nature while in St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park before enjoying the sights in Belmopan, the capital city of Belize.

Your 6-hour tour starts with a slow drive through Belize City as your expert guide points out areas of interest and shares delightful tidbits about city life and culture. Arrive at St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park, a 575-acre forest teeming with various wildlife, two cave systems, jungle and nature trails, a camping site, and an observation tower. Take a refreshing dip in the fern-laced Blue Hole, a sinkhole continually fed by a stream in St. Herman's cave (Please note: this inland blue hole is separate and distinct from the Great Blue Hole found in offshore Belize). Hike the trails and climb the hilltop observation tower for beautiful 360 panoramic photos of the rainforest canopy and park below. Keep an eye out for ocelots!

Continue to Belmopan, the capital city of Belize. Belmopan became the nation's capital in 1970 following the devastating impact of Hurricane Hattie on Belize City in 1961. Take a break with a traditional Belizean lunch then enjoy a tour of the city's highlights. Gaze up at the National Assembly Building with its pre-Columbian Maya temple design and stand on the main campus of the University of Belize before your ride back to Belize City.

Please Note: Your standard tour includes lunch and soft drinks; alcoholic beverages may be purchased separately. Guests must be able to walk unassisted on uneven ground. No wheelchair access available.
