St Lucia Snorkeling
Snorkeling in St. Lucia Day Trip
St. Lucia is rated as one of the unexploited underwater secrets in the Caribbean. With its pristine and highly diverse coral reefs, pinnacles and shipwrecks, this St. Lucia excursion offers the visitor the ideal snorkel adventure - one not to be missed!
Departing from the cruise pier area, you will be transferred to Marigot Bay for check-in at the dive shop. After receiving equipment and filling out the required waiver, you will board your boat and head out from Marigot Bay to the island's sheltered west coast. The boat may be shared by both snorkelers and divers.
Depending on the water and weather conditions that day, your captain will head for the best snorkeling and diving site. This may be anywhere from a 15 to 45 minute boat ride from the dock. Upon arrival, your captain will anchor and snorkelers will be teamed up with their guide (maximum eight guests per guide) and spend approximately the next 45-60 minutes snorkeling the crystal-clear waters of St. Lucia.
Back on board, a full lunch is served featuring an entree that might be baked chicken, fish, or pork, along with vegetables, salad, rice, or macaroni pie. This will provide some time to rest before the captain makes his way to your second snorkeling site.
At the second site of your St. Lucia tour, you will also have 45 - 60 minutes to snorkel over reefs teaming with tropical fish. After your second snorkel stop, you will make your way back to Marigot Bay and then to your cruise ship.
Average time of the tour, including transfers is 5 hours but may vary based on the snorkel sites visited that day. Snorkeling is from the boat at anchor so guests should have a general knowledge of swimming.
This St. Lucia port tour shares the same boat as the St Lucia Certified Two Tank Dive for parties wanting to split up, but be together. Certified divers should sign up for the scuba dive at the same departure time as the snorkel tour.

We were met on time by the friendly driver who took us to the boat and we had a super fun day snorkeling with our guide Mervin who was an expert free diver who actually spotted lionfish and speared them and put them in the traps! Healthy coral and fish at Anse de Couchon. Well worth the price and would use this company again. BEAUTIFUL!

We booked this trip on line although we were staying in Marigot Bay and were met on the pier by Mervin who showed up to the office beside Doolittles restaurant. We joined the Boat with others either Snorkeling or Scouber diving and went down the coast to a reef called Suger Beech to snorkel before making our way back to the boat where lunch was prepared for us after lunch we relocated to another dive site and we Snorkeled another reef by the Jade Mountain hotel beech before heading back to Marigot Bay. Altogether a very enjoyable experience with friendly helpful crew on board a very well looked after dive boat total number on board was about 12 it my view it represented very good value.

Did this one several years ago, had the same great dive guides of Alvin and Dylan! Preferred the stops previously, but they needed to pick up another diver in a different city.

The team of Alvin and Dylan were great diving and snorkeling guides! We love the smaller group and great service, including lunch! The 2nd time around in April we went to different dive locations due to picking up another diver in another town. This spot was not as impressive as other locations.

The weather was tough, it rained mostly all day. However the captain & crew were very friendly and helped us to make the most out of the weather. The scenery was amazing, in between the low clouds & rain. My young daughter was very hesitant to snorkel, especially in the chilly rain, and the crew took time to ensure she was happy. They even put her on a boogie board and towed her to the beach to hang out while we snorkeled. Overall, a great day and would definitely book this excursion again.
