Then head over to the Battery Gun Historical Site at Nasonini. Designated as a WWII Heritage site, this area was used during WWII to guard safe passage into the Suva Harbor. The guns used at the site, since removed by the government, were the biggest military guns available at that time.
Pass by the University of the South Pacific as you make your way through the scenic town of Nausori. Visit Fiji's first sugar and rice mill, built in 1872 following the collapse of the cotton industry. While in Nausori check out many exotic fruits and vegetables at the local market.
