Recommended Dress Dress for a 10-15 degree fahrenheit temperature decrease from sea level (at the cruise ship docks) to the glacier. We recommend wearing long socks, sturdy, closed-toe footwear, and warm layers. Additionally, you may want to bring gloves and a hat. Backpacks and purses cannot be accommodated on this tour. We offer secure storage options so you can pick up items upon your return. Be sure to bring your sunglasses, camera, and a thirst for adventure!
Restrictions All guests, regardless of age, must purchase a seat and be able to be belted in. The minimum age to attend the tour for all passengers is 7 years of age. Infants may not participate. Due to safety protocol, we do not allow selfie sticks, iPads, or drones on this tour. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be able to ascend two flights of stairs. Guests weighing more than 250 pounds fully clothed must pay an additional fee for a comfortable seat on the helicopter.
Glacier Adventure by Air, Water, and Ice

Take off and see the magnificent Juneau Icefield and the neighboring Tongass National Forest from the air before landing at the remote Taku Point.
Continue your journey to the 5-mile terminus of Taku Glacier by airboat for an hour, while you will get up-close looks at the glacier. Walk around the pristine characteristics of the largest glacier in the area after taking a flight up to the icefield's surface. The helicopter will return you to our base and a comfortable shuttle will provide return transportation to your pick-up location.
This promises to be a truly unforgettable Alaskan experience, with the possibilities for observing the glacier's spectacular face and deep blue crevasses.
