The Ultimate Tour

Enjoy this once in a lifetime opportunity to explore the best of the Northern Territory. This tour is packed with something for everyone, and will satisfy those interested in adrenaline excitement, as well as those seeking breath-taking beauty.

Darwin is the capital of Australia's Northern Territory, and a former frontier outpost. It's also a gateway to the massive Kakadu National Park. It has a popular waterfront with several beaches and green areas, like Bicentennial Park.

Your ultimate tour will start with a scenic flight, complete with a spectacular floatplane landing on the pristine waters of Sweets Lagoon. Just picture an experience that combines a floatplane, airboats, and a cruise, all in one adventure!

Experience a Billabong cruise with a traditional barbecue breakfast or lunch. You'll also encounter some of the Northern Territory's most unique wildlife, including a crocodiles and water buffalo, followed by a cool off in a croc safe pool.

Then get ready for an exhilarating airboat ride over the wetlands, followed by a guided tour through the monsoonal rainforest. Commonly known as "closed forests," these pockets of forest rely on the Top Ends' monsoonal wet season for their water. During the wet season, they have a "closed" roof of tangled branches, leaves, and vines, which shades the forest floor. But in the dry season, they usually rely on permanent spring fed water. Many of the trees shed their leaves to conserve water, thereby allowing the sun to light up the ground. Did you know that in the Northern Territory, there are about 15,000 of these monsoon forest patches, which amounts to just 0.2% of the land? It's amazing!

Your tour will come to an end with an air-conditioned, comfortable transfer back to the Wharf and the cruise ship pier area.
