Join a full-day shared tour to Vung Tau and explore one of southern Vietnam's most relaxed and scenic coastal cities. This group experience is a great way to enjoy the area's natural beauty, cultural landmarks, and local flavor, all with round-trip transport included from the port.
Your day begins with an approximately 90-minute scenic drive through the countryside. Along the way, you'll get a glimpse of rural life and the changing landscape as you make your way to the coast.
Once in Vung Tau, you'll visit Thuy Van Beach, a wide stretch of soft sand known for its gentle waves. You'll have free time to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the view, with beach chairs and refreshments available for purchase.
After some free time at the beach, the group will stop for a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant. The meal features fresh, regional dishes that reflect the coastal setting.
In the afternoon, you'll explore several key sites around the city. Visit the towering Jesus Christ Statue, one of the tallest of its kind in Asia. If you're up for the stairs, the views from the top are worth the effort. Next, you'll stop at the Whale Temple, a local place of worship tied to Vietnam's maritime traditions. The final cultural stop is Bach Dinh Mansion, a colonial-era residence once used by French officials, offering insight into the region's past and great views of the sea.
Before returning to the ship, the group will visit Cape Nghinh Phong, a dramatic viewpoint overlooking the coastline and the East Sea. After enjoying the scenery, you'll head back to port with plenty of time before departure.
