Snorkel at Two Reefs in Roatan

Enjoy an unforgettable snorkeling experience in Roatan. This Roatan excursion lets you witness the island's underwater world firsthand. See a completely different side to Roatan!

Your adventure starts with a quick orientation at the Dive Center, where you'll meet your instructors. After you get all your snorkeling equipment, you'll make your way onto one of the snorkel boats that has been specifically designed for the Caribbean reef. Should you need help with any equipment, the staff will be more than happy to help you and ensure you have a safe time. Following a brief 10-minute boat ride, you'll arrive at the snorkeling site.

The snorkeling site of this Roatan excursion is the Meso-American Barrier Reef. It's the largest in the entire Northern Hemisphere, so you're in for a treat. When you're snorkeling, be on the lookout for Creole wrasses, stingrays, porkfish, king crabs, and other fascinating creatures. You may want to bring an underwater camera to capture all this beauty.

Snorkeling is just one part of this Roatan tour. The other portion of the tour takes place at West Bay and its beautiful beaches. While here, you can work on your tan, do some shopping or get a massage. There are activities for every type of traveler! If time permits, you will also have access to the resort restaurant, and the San Simon Beach Club at the gorgeous 5 Star Mayan Princess Beach and Dive Resort for some R&R.

A great experience. Well managed. Excellent locations. Leader took us to best areas. One of the reasons we use excursions is the small number of people in the excursion. Refreshments were good. This company is a high end resort for dives and snorkel.

Simply Amazing Tour
April 23, 2018
I took my three kids aged 17, 15 & 12 on tour. Our driver drove us to a private gated resort with a dive shop and private beach. We were invited to relax on the white sandy beach overlooking crystal clear blue water. We were soon invited to board our 30-35 foot boat with the captain and his 2 man crew. There were only two others with us on the boat. We were offered water and the crew rinsed our masks in baby shampoo to insure they did not fog up. After a safety briefing, we jumped in the water and were taken on a guided tour of a spectacular reef. We say turtles, sting ray, crab, eel and plenty of colorful tropical fish. We are all good swimmers, but first timer snorkelers. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. After about an hour, we motored over to a more spectacular spot for more guided snorkeling. Our guide would dive down 30-40 feet to encourage more exotic creatures to come out of the reef. I highly recommend this tour. It is well priced, very private, very safe and enjoyable.

This was a great excursion, small and comfortable might suggest water be offered during the excursion. They did offer watermelon on the boat but water would have been perfect. The people were accommodating and knowledgeable.

Two Reef Snorkel

The crew was wonderful and attentive. We were allowed plenty of time to snorkel. The reefs like many are getting bleached out but we did see great formations and plenty of fish. Also all the equipment was in in good shape. I gave it 4 stars because of the bleached reef and not the crew

A Great Way to Spend a Hot Day, but pass on lunch
August 18, 2016
Our Two Reef snorkel trip lived up to its name. On a nice, sunny morning we snorkeled under the guidance of a local diver who pointed out sights plus dove down to highlight some neat fish. The boat trips to, between, and from the 2 sites were short and pleasant. Lunch on the beach was a partial disappointment - food was good, but service was horrible. We waited over an hour between placing orders and eating. Well, actually, 2 of our party got served right away, and the other 6 of us waited the hour plus. As we were all going back to our ship in the same van, we were all locked into the poor service timetable. We should have gone back to the ship and eaten there, but were outvoted by the ""stay and eat"" side.

The guides were really nice and helpful. Seas were a little rough and cloudy but they took us to the best locations.
