Restrictions This activity requires moderate physical health and wellness, as it leaves the protection of Hilo Bay and is conducted mostly in the open ocean. There are variable weather conditions including waves, wind, and rain. Guests with prohibitive physical ailments are not recommended to participate in this tour. Guests prone to motion sickness are recommended to take necessary preparations. The minimum age required to participate is 8 years old and the maximum weight allowed for one person is 300 pounds.

On calm days, snorkel gear is provided, and you may have the opportunity to enter the water and listen to the haunting songs of humpback whales echoing through the ocean. While not guaranteed, this experience offers a unique and memorable way to connect with these gentle giants. The minimum age for all guests is 8 years old, except for Fishing Charters and Scuba Diving, where the minimum age is 12 years. All guests must provide their height, weight, and shoe size before the tour.
