Yas Island Tour

A spectacularly scenic boat tour on the waters around Abu Dhabi awaits you on this just over 1-hour adventure. Abu Dhabi is the capital and the second most populous city of the United Arab Emirates (the most populous being Dubai). The largest of the UAE's seven emirates is also capital of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The city is situated on an island in the Persian Gulf off the central western coast where the majority of the city and Emirate reside on the mainland connected to the rest of the country.

Depart from Yas Marina, one of Abu Dhabi's finest marinas known for hosting Formula 1 parties and events. Located on Yas Island, the 227-berth marina is home to exciting restaurants, lounges and boasts iconic views of the Yas hotel and racetrack. At night, this family friendly area transforms into a sizzling scene for dining and nightlife entertainment.

See Yas Beach, an idyllic beach nestled between natural mangroves and the impressive Yas Links Golf Club. The white sands and crystal-clear water make for a tranquil getaway from the hustle and bustle of the island's many attractions. Continue past the Golf Club where the links are rated #44 in the world and boast impressive greens over a beautifully manicured course that spans the lower length of Yas Island. Seeing this sprawling view from the water is simply breathtaking.

Move on from here to motor past the iconic Ferrari World, the world's largest indoor theme park and home to the the world's fastest roller coaster. This feat of modern architecture had its design inspired by the profile of the Ferrari GT and required over 12,370 tons of steel to reinforce the massive structure.

Next up is Yas Water World, a futuristic water park that ranks as Abu Dhabi's largest and most popular. Spanning an area as big as 15 football fields the park offers 43 rides, slides and attractions, five of which are a one-of-a-kind experience.

All around you are the natural mangroves that make up the coastline of Yas Island. These beautiful plants create a green frame around the Yas canal providing a natural habitat around the turquoise waters. Home to many species of birds, fish and turtles, the mangroves will provide you with opportunity to see some of the area's wildlife.

Continue to Jazeerat Al Sammaliyah Island, home to the Emirate Heriatge Club. This is a community dedicated to preserving and fostering Emirati culture where the coast is lined with impressive Arabian fort-like buildings that are built utilizing traditional UAE architectural techniques and materials.

View next Al Raha Bay where white sands and turquoise waters come together and are home to Arabian gazelles that often can be seen prancing up and down the beach. These animals are a wonderful gift to behold but look fast as they can be gone in a flash, running up to 65km an hour!

Last but not least is the Aldar Headquarters building. This circular structure is 25 floors tall and stands 113m at the tip. As one of the capital's most distinctive buildings, it was voted the "Best Futuristic Design 2008" by The Building Exchange (BEX) Conference in Spain. The building is home to Aldar, the company responsible for developing many of the city's iconic and complex construction projects.
