Recommended Dress We recommend wearing a swimsuit under comfortable, lightweight clothing that can get wet (you may also want to bring a change of clothes). Closed-toe shoes or sport sandals with a back-strap are needed for the zip line. Please bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, and insect repellent.

Restrictions The minimum age to participate is 8 years old and the maximum weight allowed is 260 lbs (118 kg). This tour is not recommended for pregnant women or guests with heart issues, back problems, limited mobility, etc. This tour can accommodate folding wheelchair if traveling with a companion.

After debarking your ship, it is just a short walk to meet your local, friendly representative directly at the cruise port area who will welcome you and escort you to your waiting transportation for an approximate 10-minute scenic ride to the adventure park.

Once you have arrived at the adventure park you will be greeted by the professional trained staff who will introduce you to some high-flying, adrenaline rushing fun. Your guides will provide you with a mandatory safety briefing first and then you will take to the air and zip on 8 different lines. These ACCT certified zip lines have a total of more than 8,000 feet of double, galvanized steel cable. Never been zip lining before? Not a problem as no experience is required. Contrary to many other zip line parks, you are not involved in any active breaking where you use gloves for stopping. Don't miss out on zip line #9, the only way to finish is taking the plunge into the swimming pool!

Next up is a relaxing and leisurely horseback ride around the scenic property. On this gentle ride you can slow down and enjoy some of the breath-taking views. Depending on riding skills and experience the staff will pair you with right horse, for beginners and children the staff will take the time to provide full basic riding instructions.

By now you will no doubt have worked up an appetite, so it's time to make your way to lunch. Pull up a seat and enjoy a delicious, home-cooked Dominican lunch consisting of rice, beans, chicken or beef, fried sweet potatoes and yucca, vegetables, fresh tropical fruits and more.

So much fun

The excursion was a blast. We were picked up by very friendly and knowledgable people and driven to the ‘ranch’. The horses were very well-behaved as we rode for a couple of miles around the property. We felt safe and as if we were in capable hands while zip lining, though it was a pretty strenuous hike.

Zip line and Horseback ride fun

This company tried very hard to ensure we had a very good time. The zip line was challenging and a blast! There was plenty of lines of varying lengths and drops. The horseback ride was enjoyable. Very worth the money spent. The included lunch was excellent. My wife was ill and couldn't attend, and the company gladly returned her portion of the fee. The owner was there to ensure all was well, and was pleasant to visit with.

Great Experience

We went with 4 children (9,11,15,16) And had a blast! I was a little worried about the younger one being scared but she wasn’t at all. We all felt very safe and well taken care of. The staff was so nice and helpful. When horseback riding, the horses seemed in good health and were very well behaved. We didn’t feel we had time to take out our phones/cameras for pictures while riding as we kind of pushed through this part. I would highly recommend this excursion for those with younger children and are limited by the age. The food was also great. 2 of the children said it was probably the best meal they had on the trip thus far.

Amber cove zip line and Horseback ride

It’s great experience, I have horse ride first time but but it’s amazing staff are very nice and specially owner of this facility Dennis / Deniel very nice person and co operative , also arrange few veg food for our group I must recommend this excursion 👍👍

Excellent view of the interior of the Dominican Republic! The ranch was awesome and the help were locals with an obvious love of their island. The food was cooked on location and scrumptious!!!! This was a fantastic day.
