Recommended Dress We recommend wearing comfortable, weather appropriate clothes that can take the conditions as you may be driving on dusty, dirt roads. Sensible walking shoes or sneakers, sunglasses, a hat and sun screen are also recommended.

Restrictions Guests must be at least 10 years of age and maximum age of 65 years old to participate on the tour, and drivers must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license. All guests must be able to be to sit and be belted in a seat. A large portion of the tour is on uneven, bumpy dirt roads, several of which are only accessible by 4 wheel drive. Guests with neck, back, or hip ailments and pregnant women should not participate. Wheelchair guests and guests with limited mobility should not participate in this tour. The roads on this tour are extremely rugged, guests who have a fear of heights, driving over extremely rugged terrain or who suffer from motion sickness should not participate in this tour.

Afternoon UTV Adventure

After a required safety instructional briefing your guide will lead you to discover the true island of Aruba through some local neighborhoods to Black Stone Beach. Black Stone Beach is the only beach in Aruba with "black sand," and is bordered by tiny, iridescent black weathered stones.

Next you'll stop at the Tripod Natural Bridge, one of Aruba's most gorgeous areas.Tripod Natural Bridge, is three naturally formed bridges that are connected at one point and were made by coral limestone that was carved by years of pounding surf.

At the the next stop, the Bushiribana gold mine, you have a chance to uncover some gold. The Aruba Island Gold Mining Company constructed the Bushiribana smelter in 1872 to extract gold from the ore that was being mined in the adjacent Ceru Plat hills. It was in use for ten years.

Once you arrive at the Aruba Ostrich Farm, where 80 in total, of the world's largest living species will be waiting for you to meet them. Visitors are welcome to participate in a guided tour of the farm, which is home to both ostriches and their Australian relatives, the flightless emus. Through in-depth explanations and close contact with the birds, the trip offers the chance to learn about the natural behavior and survival instincts of these remarkable species. Enjoy a complimentary local snack at the farm to fuel your adventure the rest of the way.

You can unwind at Mangel Halto Beach, which is the final stop on your journey. Mangel Halto Beach is regarded as one of Aruba's best snorkeling spots. It has wonderful views of the coastline and a great snorkeling spot on the beach.

Great afternoon

This was a great time. Our guide was very informative and very personable. We had a great day and a great way to see the hot spots. The ostrich farm was a lot of fun we loved feeding them it was great fun from start to finish. Would do this again.

Afternoon UTV turned out awesome!

Though it started off strangely, this ended as one of the best excursions we have ever experienced. The ostrich farm was unique with a colorful rancher who told us more than we ever wanted to know them. We journeyed to an exquisite view near the gold mine fortress. Next, we traveled to the land bridge, a site to behold even though it's collapsed. That's where we take a most interesting turn. We put our UTV's to the test by going up and up on the rocky crags of Aruba and among the cactus and red dirt. We went off the beaten path to a secluded 2nd and 3rd land bridge. We also walked on the black sand beach spotting a goat on a rocky ledge, tiny shellfish attached to the volcanic-like rock near the water and not another group in sight! The isolation and roughing it was just what we wanted. We ended our tour on a highway beach as we watched the sun go down. Can't say enough good things about this. It wasn't hurried, and it was good, old-fashioned adventure. Highly recommend!

Greatest Excursion Ever

Els tours picked us up at our pier, we followed the directions precisely so there was no confusion about which pier our ship came into. Unfortunately I think some of our Cruise passengers didn’t pay attention to the details and were late and very rude to our tour guide. Our tour was rainy/stormy and a vehicle broke down but we had the adventure of a lifetime!!!! Our tour guide Danny was extremely patient and laid back we had so much fun and Danny showed us a great time! We did this tour a few years ago with another tour but Els tours was definitely the best top notch!! We were on a Celebrity Cruise and they did not offer a UTV tour so booked this independently and was so happy we did! Many thanks to Direct Line Cruises also for setting this up for us. We saw so much of the desert and beautiful scenery and fun driving UTV!

Lots of fun. We had a great time

We ended up with a personal tour because no one else showed up. The buggies was nice and ran great. The guide was fantastic. We enjoyed the ostrich farm. Learned a lot and it was cool. Got to see so much driving through the country. The ocean swim was clean and beautiful. The fort from the gold mining was neat. The natural formations was something to see. I highly recommend this tour and this company!! Very great time.

Our afternoon UTV Adventure with EL Tours was so much fun. Pickup at the cruise port was on time and we were transported to the UTV location and greeted by our guide Jason. We were the only ones on the tour that afternoon so we basically had a private tour. We were given a safety briefing and complimentary bandana. First stop, the Ostrich Farm where we toured the facility, fed the ostriches and were treated to refreshments and snacks. This is an off-road adventure so it's bumpy, dusty and dirty but so worth it. We visited old ruins, Boca Tabla, Boca Pistol and the Natural Pond where we had time for a quick swim. Jason was an exceptional guide and provided great insight into the island of Aruba and all of its natural beauty. We were then escorted back to the starting point where we boarded the bus for return to the port. Next time in Aruba, get out of the port area and take this tour....you won't regret it!
