Isla Pasion Beach Day Excursion in Cozumel, Mexico

Get away from the crowds in a rustic private island for an unforgettable day of relaxation on this Cozumel excursion. For guests looking for a day at a luxury resort, this is not the tour for you, as getting there is part of the adventure. After meeting the local representative at the meeting point, you will board pre-arranged transportation and set out from the town of San Miguel for your 40 minute journey to a secluded private tropical island. Your route passes by the replica of the goddess I'xchel Castle and then continues throughout the northern part of the island, where you will shake, rattle, and bump along unpaved roads leading to Bahia Ciega. There you will catch a boat to cross to the island.

Your small open-air long boat ride will take 20 minutes for the crossing to Passion Island (the boats accommodate approximately 15 guests each). Once on Passion Island you will find palm trees, hammocks, lounge beds, water trampolines, kids club, beach bar, Palapa Restaurant, showers, dressing rooms, and restrooms. Enjoy approximately 3 and a half hours of free time to unwind on one of Cozumel's most beautiful beaches.

A delicious beach buffet and open bar of select beers, cocktails including margaritas, tequila sunrises, and rum punch, soda, and water enhance your day in paradise. A cash bar is also available with premium spirits and blender drinks. Beach activities are offered throughout the day and snorkel equipment, boogie boards, and aquacycles can be rented from the gift shop. In addition, massages can be purchased right on the beach.

All too soon it is time to take the boat back to the mainland where you will be driven back to downtown San Miguel.

Great Resort Atmosphere
June 21, 2019
We enjoyed our time immensely. The staff that met us off the ship was friendly and engaging. Our driver down the bumpy road to the ferry was pleasant and made the half hour ride as smooth as possible considering the massive potholes that had to be navigated. The island itself was beautiful the drinks were plentiful and food was delicious. Had fun playing volleyball in the surf and relaxing in a covered lounge area.

Isla Pasion Beach Adventure
February 14, 2019
The trip was organized with a very individual approach. Felipe, our guide, was most knowledgable. Before we booked the tour, we were advised that the road out to the bay where we would take the little boat over to the Isla Pasion, would be rough. We were given our own Jeep, with 2 other guests, and we followed Felipe, in his Jeep. It was interesting to drive through the jungle on an unpaved road. The Isla Pasion was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beach and waters, with ample food and drinks included in our tour. Although we enjoyed the drive in the Jeeps, we note the road is rough, with potholes, so not for everyone.

Beautiful location

The location was beautiful, the staff pampered you. But the actual time at the beach was too short and should be extended.
