Recommended Dress We recommend wearing your swimsuit under comfortable clothing which may get wet, and rubber-soled shoes. Guests should bring a towel, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Restrictions Guests must be able to swim and must be a minimum of 12 years of age. Divers will be asked to complete a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Participant Statement. Guests must be able to climb in and out of the vehicle and be able to sit in the seat with a seatbelt on. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to drive and must present a valid driver's license. The maximum weight that can be accommodated in the vehicle is 220 pounds per person. Guests who cannot drive a manual (stick shift) drive vehicle will be matched up with guests who can. Guests with neck, back, or hip ailments, heart conditions, a current cold or sinus congestion, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, a recent surgery or severe medical problem, and pregnant women may not participate in this program. Guests under the influence, or appearing under the influence, of alcohol or other substances will not be allowed to operate a jeep.

Cozumel Dive & Drive

You will love this perfectly paired day of shallow scuba diving the Villa Blanca Reef and driving around Cozumel in a Jeep or a dune buggy.

Start your day in the morning when you meet your guide at the pier. Your guide will take you directly to the Jeep, VW Beetle, or dune buggy, where your adventure begins.

Your Dive and Drive tour will start in Cozumel with diving instructions with a certified dive master. This training will take approximately 20 minutes. You will be confined to very shallow water while learning how to use your equipment. This training will get you comfortable with the basics before your dive. Your tour includes the following equipment: mask, snorkel, fins, BCD, and regulator. A wet suit is NOT included.

After you have completed your training, you will go under water at Villa Blanca Reef, one of the most colorful reefs in Cozumel. The scenery explodes underwater with brilliant Caribbean fish, colorful marine life, and dancing coral. This 45 minute dive is spectacular and ideal for any level diver. In Cozumel, a diver does not have to go very deep to start experiencing the magnificent marine life that the reef attracts.

After diving, enjoy a 25 minute drive around the island. Your Cozumel dive guide will point out interesting landmarks on your way to the Tequila Museum. Once you arrive, you'll be able to explore the area and the museum. The Tequila Museum is fun and the view is spectacular. A delicious Mexican lunch will be served at a beach club, featuring fajitas, rice, beans, and tortillas. After you finish up, head to downtown Cozumel, where you can shop til you drop before you make your way back to the pier.

Please Note: All dune buggies and Volkswagen Beetles are equipped with manual transmission (stick shift). Buggies or Volkswagen Beetles with automatic transmission are not available. The dune buggies can accommodate 4 guests. Stops will be made so that guests may take turns driving.

For those guests unable to drive a manual transmission buggy, you may choose a Jeep with automatic transmission. Please indicate on your order which type of vehicle type you prefer.

Rene, aka Pistol was a real pleasure to spend the morning with. He is the kind of person I want on my payroll. He showed me places I was interested in. Had facts. Did a little off roading and scuba dive. I was on the cruise alone by choice but hanging out with Rene was the best part of my trip. Had a nice lunch too. Went thru town and did some shopping. Had a few shots to boot. Real great time. Thank you Rene! Powers that be, please see to it that Rene knows he was appreciated. He did his job, please do yours. Thank you.

Best excursion at any port!!!

Our guide was amazing!!!! We started at Playa Mia, where we would do the SCUBA. Our instructor was a little late, so the resort let us ride a jet ski for free, while we waited. Once Daphne showed up, we were in the water. She was so patient with my wife, who was a little afraid of the idea of breathing underwater. Afterward, my wife was really excited to try it again. Then we went to the Tequila museum and tasted the smoothest Tequila I've ever had. Bought two bottles. Finally, our guide took us to the cavern, which was close by. It was beautiful. When in Cozumel, we're doing this tour...such a great value!

I wanted to mention how great the service was for this. The drivers/tour guides gave us a lot of information about the history of the area as well as interesting details about each place we went. I was especially impressed with the diving team. They were extremely courteous and Daphne took particular care to show my wife different underwater features. This was my wife's first scuba experience and Daphne really went the extra mile to make it outstanding. You have a great team in Cozumel!

Highlight of the Vacation

We had an incredible time on this excursion. The scuba was fantastic. And then, the rest of the day was even better. Our guide, Roger, took us to a small family restaurant for some authentic Mexican. After that, a tequila tasting that knocked our socks off. We even had extra time to spend on two remote beaches enjoying freshly made mojitos. Make sure to choose the buggy option. Riding around the island in an open-air buggy was an experience we won't soon forget.

Wonderful time!

We had a great time. Our family of 4 were the only ones on the excursion. Our guide, Roberto, was so helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. It was very laid back and relaxed. Not rush rush. Scuba diving was fun, tequila factory was neat, food was good and he let us choose how to spend the rest of the time so we drove around the island in our own Jeep. Would definitely book again. My sons favorite excursion by far.
