Begin your adventure at Fisherman's Wharf, one of San Francisco's most lively and popular destinations. Explore the attractions at Pier 39, watch the famous colony of sea lions, and take in the many sights that line the bustling waterfront. From the open-top bus, enjoy outstanding views as you travel past the Barbary Coast, Embarcadero, Ferry Building, Union Square, City Hall, North Beach, the Palace of Fine Arts, Marina District, and many other notable landmarks. Capture a memorable photo at Chinatown's iconic Dragon Gates, sample the neighborhood's renowned cuisine, or indulge in shopping at the upscale boutiques and department stores of Union Square. Continue to Nob Hill, one of the city's most prestigious hilltop neighborhoods, where the historic California Street cable car line passes elegant landmark hotels and some of San Francisco's most beautiful streets.

One of the highlights of the tour is crossing San Francisco's most famous landmark, the Golden Gate Bridge. As you travel across the 1.7-mile span aboard an open-top bus, you'll be treated to spectacular views of the bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the city's impressive skyline. Choose to hop off at South Vista Point, located just beside the bridge, continue to North Vista Point for incredible panoramic photo opportunities, or take a walk along the bridge high above the bay. Along the route, enjoy views of City Hall, the Opera House, and Symphony Hall in the Civic Center district. You may also stop at the Palace of Fine Arts, a magnificent neoclassical rotunda surrounded by a tranquil lagoon and one of San Francisco's most photographed landmarks, or disembark in the Marina District to stroll along the Crissy Field waterfront promenade and take in sweeping views of the bay.

Night owls who love scenery and bright lights will be able to take the night loop portion of the San Francisco bus tour. Chinatown offers a picturesque nighttime view with its dragon-crested gate, while Treasure Island, which is a little island between San Francisco and Oakland, provides you with the best views of the San Francisco skyline.

Please Note: There are 2 bus routes, the Hop-On Hop-off City Tour and the Night Tour. The Official City (Red) Route runs every 20-30 minutes and it takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the route without getting off. The Night Tour runs every evening and it takes approximately 2 hours to complete the tour (Blue). The Night Tour is not a hop on, hop off tour. First and last tour times vary by route and will be detailed in your electronic ticket.
